Is money the root of all evil?

Any God-fearing person has heard this one or version like this; that money is the root of all evil. This one takes people out of the money game all the time because they are missing one word: love.  The Bible actually says it is the love of money that is the root of all evil.  The word for money in the Greek is translated avarice: an insatiable greed for riches.  The Bible is not saying that money is evil; it's saying the love for things that money can buy is evil.  Once again God is only interested in the intent of the heart of men and women. God wants our love to be directed towards him not to his provision.  Wealth, riches and prosperity are a gift from God in order to complete the work of God.  If your focus is just on the provision, it will never be used for its intended purpose because you didn't love got enough to ask him what to do with it. Not only does God want you to be wealthy he needs you to be wealthy.  There's much work to be done on planet Earth and it's the wealthy people who have the means to make it happen.  When you put God first he'll get the money to you to get the work done.

Success is in the mind

You must first have success on your mind on the inside before you'll ever experience success in your life on the outside.  In a previous article I talked about what you think about you bring about this is especially true in business.  In the early days, people would ask me how my business was doing.  Regardless if things were up or down, growing or stagnant, I would always respond my business is booming!  The key is that it didn't really matter what I was experiencing on the outside, what really mattered was what I was thinking on the inside.  It was my experience that most people weren't really that interested in how my business was doing they were just being nice.  So I used those moments as opportunities to state positive affirmations about my business.  Some people might call that lying I call it; calling those things that are not as though they were.(Romans 4:17)

Too much information

Right now there's so much information and technology about producing a greater income, making more money and becoming financially free than ever.  It's almost overwhelming especially when you really start looking for it.  Infomercials, books, seminars and yes the granddaddy of them all the Internet.  The excuse “I don't know how” certainly doesn't hold any water this day and age because the how-to is a finger step away.  But with all this information and so many people willing to “help” you towards financial independence then what's the problem?  In my opinion the solution is the problem.  Too many how to’s and nothing to base them on.  The real answer in creating financial freedom and abundance lies with the principle.  When you learn the principles of wealth, you learn the keys that determines who gets wealthy and who doesn't regardless of the vehicle they use.  The power of principles is threefold:

1 principles are established by God not man

2 principles are not subject to change

3 principles are not subject to fail

When you put your trust in the wealth of principles instead of the wealth vehicles you automatically put your trust in God.  You are using the universal method of creating wealth not what is “hot” at the moment.  And you will always, always succeed!

The law of Alignment

One of the most powerful laws taught in chiropractic school was the law of alignment.  Simply stated the law of alignment is freedom from internal interference or blockage.  When the body is suffering from internal interference or blockage of innate intelligence, dysfunction, disease and symptoms will result.  When the mind is suffering from internal interference or blockage the same will also happen.  However, instead of physical malfunction and pain the person will suffer from mental and emotional stress and imbalance.  The majority of people's mental misalignment comes from childhood conditioning that teaches us we are less than who we are created to be.  Some signs and symptoms of mental misalignment are:

-fear

-worry

-confusion

-frustration

-doubt

-resentment

-hopelessness

Bottom line is that these emotional states are not inborn they are learned. And since they are learned they can be unlearned.  Health is the natural state of the physical body.  In the same way, Joy, peace, happiness and confidence are the natural state of the mind.

Vision: supernatural insight

Vision is probably one of the most important criteria in creating success achievement or any positive change.  It is a word that virtually every motivational guru lives by and countless more books have been written about it. How I define vision is to see into the supernatural.  The Bible says without a vision my people perish.  The key is to have God's vision versus one that you made up. Supernatural vision is to tap into a realm where all possibilities already exist. In our Divine Destiny Intensive, we train people in the techniques in order to access this realm.  As spiritual beings, it is important to acknowledge the fact we are connected to a realm different from the one we live in.  When we look at it from that perspective we begin to see the importance of obtaining a vision versus manifesting one.  Once the vision has been revealed from the higher source, we can now begin the law of creative manifestation (the Law of attraction) to manifest it on earth.  So what would you rather experience; God's plan for your life or your own?

Clarity and Dominance; the power of thought

Most of you have heard that thoughts are things.  When you realize that science has determined that thoughts carry the highest vibrational frequency, they truly are things of substance.  If that's true then it's important to realize that being things of substance, they also have qualities and characteristics.  Two of the most important of these qualities are clarity and dominance.  Clarity refers to how specific your thoughts are with respect to attaining a certain goal or outcome. The best way to achieve clarity is to write your thoughts down. When you write your thoughts down, you are making the intangible tangible.  Once they become tangible they can become molded and specified.  A great exercise is to simply think of the desired goal or outcome and begin to write nonstop for as long as you can.  Dominance is identified by taking time at the end of your day to simply review your thoughts.  Look back throughout your day and determine what you thought of the most throughout your day.  What kept coming up?  What couldn't you get out of your head?  These are the thoughts that you want to pay most attention to.  By comparing the clarity exercise with the dominance exercise you will gain insight as to what it is you're really focused on.  Remember what you think about you bring about!

The best way to predict your year is to create it! Part II

In part one we discussed identifying the 10 life areas as part of debriefing your life.  In this section we want to identify the top three areas that you want to create the most amount of change in.  The best way to identify these areas is to get in touch with the amount of emotional energy around these areas.  For example if you think about the career section and you have a sense of frustration around not knowing what to do then  this is a section you should pick. Or maybe it's time to once and for all lose those 10 pounds that you've been making your New Year's resolution around for the last three years. The key is that you're looking for a sense of urgency around making a change.  Not because it's something that you should do or not out of obligation. It has to mean something to you. Emotional energy is always associated with our core values and our core values are what are most important to us in life. Stay posted to future articles on the Ultimate Goal Setting Formula to get the results that you demand!

The best way to predict your year is to create it! Part I

At beginning of every year it's important to take an inventory of  your life, where you're at and where you want to go. I call it “de briefing” your life.  The types of questions you will be asking yourself are: what's working, what isn't working and what's next.  The goal is to establish the areas of your life that are strong and bearing fruit in addition to identifying the areas of lack, unfulfillment and drains on your energy. Once you have identified these areas, it is crucial to place a priority on the specific ones that carry the highest emotional energy(we will discuss the importance of this in part II). For now, the 10 life areas that you want to focus on are:

Body-physical health

Soul-intellectual and emotional growth

Spirit-spiritual growth

Finance-income streams and net worth

Career-profession and earned income

Relationships-family and business

Time management-control

Lifestyle-tangible possessions(car,house)

Quality of life-intangible possessions(freedom,happiness)

Destiny-contribution and significance

As you look at the list, begin to assess the level of fulfillment that you are currently experiencing with each life area.  Get in touch with everything in it that is good and everything that you would like to change and improve.  In order to create any positive change in our lives, we must first be able to clearly identify not only exactly what we want but also where we are at. Be honest, have fun and get ready for an amazing year!
